I've had that popping sensation it's stress. Bubbles that pop are stress no big commotion over them. Used to complain a lot about it. Tell him ignore it. Or give him massages on his head and give him tea. No need for medication. You'll just end up making it worse.

When my head first started popping it was doing costantly, now I can feel a tingling in my head and it'll start to hurt but when it pop's it must feel's like bubble's, like you said no pain.

I get the popping in my head. About 2 inches above my left ear. Sometimes a few minutes later I feel this odd sensation "oozing" down from the pop and even causing me to have an ear ache. I was sure my brain was bleeding down and was going to come out of my ear.
I eventually went to the doctor for some other symptoms, they gave me a MRI and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I went home and google'd everything I could find out about MS and sure enough I found several forums talking about MS and the "popping" feeling in the head.

Hi. Just curious if your son has had any more incidences where he had the Popping followed by the warm sensation? I had that too as a child. I am now 43. I never had asthma or used albuterol. Unfortunately, the doctors ran a few tests when I was 8 and could not find out what was causing those sensations. Now I have frequent migraines and occasional popping in the same spot.

For the one who said they feel popping in their head when jumping up & down- I use to ask all the time if anyone knew what I described as my brain "rattling or something" when I'd jump- as it turns out once I was in my late twenties I finally got diagnosed with "Chiari's Syndrome" & that's what I was referring to as a child. I also experience popping as well. For those of you who are concerned please look this condition up. Hope this finds all in good health & God bless!

What did you find out? I too had surgery for meningioma nine years ago and I have the titanium plate. I have also been having the popping in my head and neck (a lot actually). What did your doctor tell you?

I often get these popping feelings in my head. Accompanied by warm/liquid sensations and twitching of the eyes. Altogether it's as if I can "feel my brain". It sometimes becomes a real fixation and obsession, like Im trying to discover what the sensations are leading to or indicate. Some feel clearly self-invoked but others seem to spring from themselves. Im bipolar and take medications.

I just started taking a prescribed Albuteral inhaler from my doctor for some wheezing symptoms this year and have noticed this popping sensation as well. Has your son ever taken this inhaler again since this post?

Does anybody else on this forum use an Albuteral inhaler with these 'popping in head' symptoms?
