I had a gastric bypass 3 years ago and have nothing but health problems since then. (Gallstones that almost killed me, anemia, b-12 definency, peptic bleeding ulcers and cronic stomach pain to name a few) During my latest gastroscopy i was given the diagonis of gastric mucosal abnormality characterized by erythema. What exactly is this? I am awaiting pathology results but wasn't told anything beyond this. Anyone?

It means that you have redness of the skin or a rash due to increased blood flow to the capillaries. I have this problem as well due to acid reflux disease and it causes me to have an itchy rash on my legs (diagnosed as eczema).
