What is PARAOVARIAN CYST?

i wrote the above i just wanted to add what my symptoms were that made me think i had some thing wrong and went to obgyn who discovered the para-ovarian cyst by sonogram
my symptoms ( and every body will be different of course, you might not have any symptoms )
i felt a tightening on the side where my cyst was located ..as in a rubber band getting pulled taunt, this sensation was in the hallow of my hip bone area..it wasnt horrible pain more as in " that feels weird and shouldnt be happening pain" after a couple months this strange sensation grew to where my leg on that side was really bothered...i couldnt walk right it just felt strange like if i kept walking some thing was going to give is the best way i can describe the feeling . 99 percent of the time if i sat down the sensation would be lessened almost immediately . this could last for ten seconds or two hours and would come on for no apparent reason. i could walk for hours and have no issues or i could be walking in the grocery store for ten minutes and this strange tightening pain would happen. after a year the leg problem stopped but the strange pain never stopped and would come and go so i finally went to my doctor who discovered the cyst. for 18 months i had blood work and sonogram done every 6 months to check the status of the size ....i i was willing to live with it....but then my gallbladder went bad and i had no choice but to get that out so i opted to get the cyst out at the same time...recovery was easy and i had no issues resuming my every day normal life ( including work which required walking stretching and squatting for hours at a time ) three days after surgery. my doctor said the main worry with this kind of cyst is it getting so big it twist up on it self and twists the Fallopian tube and can cause serious issues with pain, infection, necrosis of the tube it self

hi my name is achu three days before I had got to do an abdominal scan because of a slight pain at my right side. The result shows that I do have a paraovarian cyst of 10mm. Does it affect any problem to my marital life?

something similar happened to me. I lost an ovary and tube because a doctor told me weight loss would make them go away. it got bigger and grew two tennis ball sized friends.

my grandmother had one that weighed 100lb.it permanently dislocated her heart and lungs.

How big was it showing on the sonogram?

Hi my name is Lotti ,I have a parovarian cyst and metaplasia found in my body .I am diagnosed this year I'm afraid because I would stop to get a treatment because I don't have yet money to go a doctor so far because of the financially problem.hopeful there is somebody to help my health, i am widow I have 2kids I want healthy lives for my kids. if the cyst is 3cm long den is it serious? how much time do we have to treat it? pls rply asap

I had a para ovarian cyst removed surgically 29 years ago. It twisted . I lost a baby at the same time. Early pregnancy.
I have just been diagnosed today with another para ovarian cyst.
I had trans vaginal scan.
Waiting for outcome.
Just worried. I was complaining with pain in my side and down my leg for over a year.
