I would like some answers concerning excessive sweating while asleep. It is not my problem, but my father’s and I would like to know what is going on here. Why is that happening? I mean, is there some other, more dangerous underlying illness that is manifested like that or it is nothing dangerous. I would appreciate any help.

I should probably mention fever, diabetes insipidus, problems with thyroid gland (which is responsible for metabolism), head injury sometimes etc. As you can see, there are many options and only with a medical exam you can find out what is the true cause.
