I found a litter of very small kittens on the street this morning and being the person that I am, I couldn't do anything else but take them all home. They were very scared, the poor things, and my arms are full of their bites and scratches. Of course, I didn't think about this at the time but I am now quite worried about tetanus. What is the first thing to do in case of suspected tetanus?

Tetanus is a vaccine preventable disease, and I suggest you call your family doctor and tell him or her the same story that you just told us. I am sure that you will be able to get a tetanus shot the very same day, which should clear you of any danger. What are you plans with your new kitties, if I may ask? They will probably need some medical attention too? How are you feeding such small kittens?
