I am 59 and have been postmenopausal for 10 years. I still have my ovaries. Since that time I have had burning, stabbing pain in the top of my feet. It used to be intermittent but now it is constant. I have stiffness in my feet, legs, trunk, and neck. I have the usual arthritic discomfort in my wrists. I have fatigue, depression, and anxiety. All of the above is flared by emotional stress, lack of sleep, or working in the garden in the hot sun. After the stress and lack of sleep preparing Thanksgiving dinner this year, I have numbness in the ends of my first 4 fingers of my right hand that has not resolved. The same fingers of the left hand have numbness intermittently. I went off of Prozac one month ago (after taking it for 10 years.) I no longer have brain fog or sinus-like congestion. I like feeling more alert! I feel much more alive mentally. I am willing to put up with these physical symptoms if I can continue to feel so clear minded off the Prozac! My mother had Rheumatoid Arthritis and fibromyalgia. My aunt had Lupus. My grandmother had fibromyalgia and dementia. My father had Parkinson's. My grandfather had a stroke. Another grandmother had arthritis and dementia.
I have a low blood pressure. I do not smoke of drink. I do weigh more than I should. 155 lbs. at 5'4." I am on no medications. I have been to my general practioner recently. He wanted me to take Abilify in addition to Prozac. I told him I did not want to take it because of the cost. I plan to start exercising and making certain I get enought sleep and manage the stressors in my life.

Thank you! Sincerely, Jonilyn Barrett
