So, I've got this robin that has taken up residence under one of the eaves on my house and built a nest right where the gutter tucks back in under the eave and connects to the house.
Her baby birdies have hatched and have been eating regularly. When will they learn to fly so I can take the nest down and paint the corner of the house?

Don't tell or show anyone you know about the nest if you plan on removing it. It may be against the law to remove it. It is around here but I don't know if it's a state law or a federal law to disturb a birds nest even after they have abandoned it.

Most birds have a gestation of about 3 weeks and the young learn to fly after hatching in about 7-9 days.

"Dad, I'm going out with some friends. You got a couple worms you can loan me?"
