After you have vaginal sex, you lose your virginity.

A virgin (or maiden) originally meant a woman who has never had sexual intercourse. Virginity is the state of being a virgin. It is derived from the Latin virgo, which means "sexually inexperienced woman", but also of older women, and even goddesses.

Today - it applies to men and women who have never had sex. There is some argument about how 'far' you have to go until you're not a virgin. In my opinion virginity ends when a penis enters the vagina for the first time.
