My 83 year old dad has been hearing conversations in his head for about 6 weeks now. They are not talking to him but are talking about him. It is all auditory, no visual. Sometimes someone is telling him exactly what he is about to do as in an incident last week when he was making a repair in the home. In his head I was telling someone every step he was about to take to make the repair. He also hears conversations between people from his past. He is having these episodes during his sleep as well as during the day when he is wide awake. The only thing that seems to stop them is when he is talking to someone himself. Has anyone run across anything like this?
