I read this very interesting article about multiple sclerosis, which said, among other things, that people with MS normally experience a wide range of sexual problems including not feeling like having sex, pain during sex, vaginal dryness (in women only obviously) and even numbness in the genital area. Why is it that people with MS get these symptoms?

Sexual problems are experienced by multiple sclerosis patients because multiple sclerosis is a disease that attacks functions controlled by the central nervous system, and human sexual function is one of the things controlled by the central nervous system. The problems you mentioned are not always experienced all at once, and they can come and go over periods of time.
