I have another question again..... I have taken three doses now the medication is Metronidazole and only after taking 2 of them I started bleeding. Would this medication make my period come early? Its not that early but I am not ussually early but I am guessing after everything that was going on it might be, plus its full force not like a regular cycle heavy and alot of cramping again I am 4 to 5 days early.

The medication shouldn't make you have your period BUT the infection definitely plays a role! You have had a LOT going on with you pelvis, so it is bound to be wonky and off a bit! Keep on the medication till finished, then you will probably need to go back and see if it is all cured!

The hospital did not the doctor but I don't think I could take the doctor checking when the hospital did it I had a nurse to hold onto and even then I was balling because it hurt so much. This was still same at that point it felt like I was trying to pass razor blades so she didn't check then maybe on friday.

I have a question again? I have been taking this medication now for a week and have been bleeding for a week some days stronger then others with little clots biggest was maybe the size of a nickle if that, however I did miss one dose and stopped bleeding, and I know it was about 4 days before my period was to start when I started bleeding but not to sure if I was still supposed to get my period or if that was my period, I didn't take my medication today to see if was that that was making me bleed and I have yet to bleed at all? So confused right now. %-)

Well went for my follow up today the hospital results were the same as the doctors bv which is cleared up now (knock on wood) I asked about the bleeding cause I wanted to know if that was my period or not and she said she never heard of that and that it was probably my period. I am happy to say I got a clean bill of health nothing else was there...... :-D

EXCELLENT!! So keep an eye on your sugar and carbohydrate intake, also keep taking Acidopholus and Probiotics - there are even pills now that include vitamins! IF you drink pop STOP!!! It is the food of the gods for yeast!

I used to drink alot of pop but have stopped awhile ago ahhhh its hard. Anyways I was wondering why would I be cramping now like I am going to have a period? I would have thought that I had my period while taking the medication I mentioned that to the doctor and she even said it sounds like you had your cycle, could I still be getting another cycle?

Vaqginitis or even a simple yeast infection should NOT change your cycle - as neither is a hormonal condition! Have you been under a lot of stress or lost weight, increased exercise, taken other medications etc?

I wish I lost weight lol I don't really excerise and for the stress just dealing with what was going on and that medication. I was bleeding from day one and stopped when I stopped the meds. My cycle was due March 22nd 23 rd would have been my next cycle time but because I was bleeding from the medication I was told that was my cycle. Now I am cramping like I am getting my period. So I don't know if I was going to get another cycle with what was going on?

You might have another one! Your body gets too overwhelmed with being rundown and sicknes! So you might just have a surprise visitor soon! So carry back up protection just incase!

I have a question because my cycle could have came early would I count my 26 days after the first day I started bleeding or from the date the I was suppose to get it?

Yes you count from the 1st day - your whole cycle is based on the 1st day of the period! Just like your date of ovulation! The average is 28 days
