I am 22 years old female. About 3 months ago i had my first yeast infection. After i got treated, my boyfriend and I had sex and it was really painful. He told me something is blocking him inside my vagina. It feels like I will tear inside and right after sex, mu vagina is sore and very painful. He gave me ice packs to soothe the pain. Usually the sire will last for 3 days. 1 week after we had sex again and it is still the same. But this time it is more painful and I cannot even move properly. He checked my vagina and said I have sores and thick white discharges similar to what i have in my yeast infection. I use a mirror to see for myself and there really is a sore, its white but not bloody. You cannot see it unless you look closely. The next day we went to see my OB-GYN, unfortunately she was out and i cannot go on a day without seeing a doctor and get some treatment, so we decided to just see another OB-GYN and refer it to my OB-GYN the next day. (i only trust my OB-GYN since she is in our family for years)

What was worse is that this new OB-GYN is not even asking me about my history or whatsoever, she just check out my vagina and immediately said i have herpes and then prescribed medications. Me and my bf was dumbstruck. She stared at my bf and asked if he has discharges, my bf said no. She asked "Are you sure? STDs are just passed on easily" (by the way, I am from the Philippines and PMS is not fully accepted here socially, that is why I only talk to my OB-GYN). She even said, "the medications are too expensive, can you even afford it?" She didn't even asked if we are using any forms of contraception ( I am on birth control pills) I was speechless and look at my bf. I am not suspecting him of anything coz I know he doesn't have any discharges and I see his penis everyday and there is no lesions or whatsoever. I was scared he might accuse me of something. He is my first and only sex partner. When we went out he was furious of the doctor and said we should meet my OB-GYN tomorrow. I just cried and don't know what to do. he researched the symptoms and compared. Yeast and Herpes does have similar symptoms. But I believe I don't have herpes. What can it be? Ill meet my OB-GYN tomorrow and hopefully get some answers

I am just frustrated that some people out there especially doctors are so judgmental without even getting all my personal infos or even asking how many days i have the symptoms, >.<
