I'm 19 and uncircumcised. I don't pull my foreskin past the head very often erect, but when I do it kind of hurts, but I noticed when I am flaccid that when I pull the head back I have this minor skin bridge at the top of the head. It is not the frenulum but this connection from my foreskin to the bottom of the head. There is a line of separation between the skin and the head and doesn't look like it is molded into my tip like other pictures. I've been told to wait for it to slowly disconnect but I am unsure because of my current age. It was much more apparent at younger ages where the minor bridge was a little wider and more connected, but has now become less connected. I don't know if this also correlates with why it might hurt or be difficult when I am fully erect to pull back the foreskin.

Hi Sal,

By now you shouldn't have any skin bridges.  Normal erections, masturbation, and sex should have all helped eliminate them.

See a urologist.

It shouldn't hurt to pull back your foreskin - it should easily glide over the glans.

Will this affect my health in any way other than being an inconvenience?

Your health, no. But, it is likely why you find it difficult to retract your foreskin.

Have you tried stretching? It may help.

I haven't ever actively tried stretching no, but I'll get into the habit of doing that.
