I'm better, and under the care of a doctor and an opthalmalogist and I've had this 'disease from hell' as I call it. Very bad pain for over a week, then one day the excruciating burning pain on my forehead. Am on Lyrica, had Valtrex for 10 days, Prednizone pack for 6 days, and went to pain clinic and given LIdoderm patches. They help too. My eye still feels like something is in it and I still get shooting pains around it. I woke early a.m. with the area around my eye aching really bad and took advil.
Is there reason for concern again for my eye? Or is this just part of it? I don't see the eye doctor again for 4 weeks. Thanks.

First of all I am so sorry that you have to deal with that horrible disease. It has been long time since you have posted this question so I believe there is no point in suggesting what you should or you shouldn’t do. Only thing I can do is to ask you is everything ok now and how are you feeling?

What has happened that one time when you were waiting to see your ophthalmologist? Have you managed to handle that unbearable pain? And how is your eye now? I hope that everything has ended well for you and thank you in advance for answering my question. Good luck with everything.
