I am concerned my sister may have internal shingles and none of the drs seem to be able to figure out what is wrong after MRI's, heart tests, etc. She has sever pain to her right torso area and has had an outbreak of shingles on the exterior that went away. Sometimes she has nausea, hard time swallowing, cannot get out of bed at times, cannot sleep, said it feels like there is a tight griping on the inside of her entire right torso area, almost unberable at times. Now her left arm tingles and hand/fingers go numb. Her left eye seems to be a problem as well and always tears somewhat. She is 68 years old and has high blood pressure and is diabetic. she is on medication for both of those issues. Please help - she is in pain most of the time and I would like to see her get her life back. Her personality type is also one that let's everything stress her terribly, very anxious and worries about everything. Please help, what type of dr. do you recommend and what other tests should she try?
