Hi, my brother who is 35 years old also had vasectomy and he is very satisfied with it. There were no side effects and his sexual life stayed same as it was before. Vasectomy affects neither the production of male sex hormones. Therefore sexual desire and the ability to have an erection and an orgasm with an ejaculation are not affected.
