Hi,I am 38 years old and I am thinking about vasectomy. I am married for 13 years and have three children with my wife. She is 5 years younger than me and she would like to make something with her career now when she borne our three beautiful children.
I want to support her as she doesn't want to have more children and I was thinking to do vasectomy. I don't know if I am too young for such thing?

Hi, my brother who is 35 years old also had vasectomy and he is very satisfied with it. There were no side effects and his sexual life stayed same as it was before. Vasectomy affects neither the production of male sex hormones. Therefore sexual desire and the ability to have an erection and an orgasm with an ejaculation are not affected. It does not significantly affect the volume, and appearance of the ejaculate. He was very satisfied with fact that he won't use condom with his wife any more. He always complained that condoms make their sex so artificial.
I would like to add that doctor recommended him to check prostate yearly.
So I don't think you are too young for such procedure especially when you have good reason for it.
