I AM 5 DAYS POST-OP FROM LAPROSCOPIC CHOLECYSTECTOMY. I AM HAVING DIFFICULTY GETTING A DEEP BREATH. I HAVE ALREADY BEEN T O THE ER 2 DAYS POST-OP AND RULED OUT A PULMONARY EMBOLISM. I ALSO KNOW THAT THEY HAD PROBLEMS GETTING THE ENDO TUBE DOWN ME. IS IT NORMAL TO BE FEELING LIKE SOMETHING IS SITTING ON MY DIAPHRAM AND NOT FEELING LIKE I CAN GET A DEEP BREATH?? ALSO I DO HAVE SOME YELLOW WHEN I WIPE BUT THE STOOL LOOKS LIGHT BROWN, WITH SOME BURNING?

Hi there, I think that in the first couple of days after surgery that it is normal to experience something like that, but I don't think that it's something that you should feel all the time. I am sorry that they were unable to help you out at the ER but I do know that if you see your regular doctor that you should probably be able to get a little more indepth help. Let me know how you're doing, okay? Keep me posted.
