I had a lap done 7 days ago. I feel numb and like i am on heavy drugs... the er doc thinksvertigo and gave me antivert. i feel just as bad now just everything quit spinning. please help me, i cry cause im scared.

My husband called my doctor and the doc said that they gave me too many mg of antivert. doc explained my symptoms. maybe id do have vertigo. why would i get vertigo after a laproscopic surgery that only had me under for a little over an hour?

Maybe there is something going on with your inner ear. That can make you feel like your falling over, and you sort of stagger when you try to walk. I had an ear infection for about 10 days and the loopy feeling went away after i was on an antibiotic in 3 days.
