PLEASE HELP ME! I honestly don't know where to to turn. It has been almost a year and my health is worse today then it was at time of thyroid removal. The surgery was 9 hours and the thyroid was larger than any one knew. It was tested and there was no cancer. I am on sooooooo much medicine currently 325 mg synthroid, magnesium, calcium and vitiam D. I now am diabetic and have to take colestol medicine. I have double my weight in almost a year. I am depressed, moody with no engery to do anything. I have seen many doctors and they all say it takes time and blame everything on the weight gain, but it seems I gain weight no matter what. I have terrible water retention and my stomach is hugh and hard. My toes get numb and are constantly cold. I get dizzy and light headed and sometimes fall asleep. I was recently hospitalized again and but on Furosemide, which started to work, but after a few weeks it doesnt seem to be working. Please tell me which way to turn , what am i doing wrong.......is this normal, I am honest at the end of the rope.
