Hello my 9 year old son has a problem with his upper eye lids
one is worse than the other
this is what happened
just after xmas 2011 his led eye started to swell up and get red over 3 days, took him to doctors they did not prescribed anything said it will either go or get worse, if worse bring him back.
so his eye started to go down, but it left a lump, a red lump which is not the size of a small pea, very round and pea like.
the other eye lid i can see a ridge in, but not as bad as the left eye.
the doctor has referred him to see the eye specialist at the hospital.
i dont understand why they have not tried antibiotics? or do they think it something more serious? this is just his upper eyelids.

maybe it is that my doctor is uncertain, its just that when you google it says antibiotics. seeing its both eyelids i thought not cancer, but shall soon find out as have referral to the hospital
