Hello. I'm 25 year old sexually active female and I'm pretty scared because I think I have developed some sexually transmitted disease.
Just recently I have noticed this small bump just beside my vagina and I didn’t know what it was. I know only that it wasn’t there before-I'm sure about it. I didn’t pay too much attention on it because I thought that it resolve by it self. I was wrong.
After a day or two, several other bumps have appeared also and I'm desperate to find what the cause is.
I have read somewhere that some sexually transmitted disease called genital warts could cause it. Can it lead to something dangerous?

Hello. I have just read your post and I can say only that it could be very difficult to say anything about it for sure because you have mentioned only few things.
You didn’t tell is there any lymph node swelling on your groin region or high body temperature and these signs could be crucial for proper diagnosis of some sexually transmitted disease. Because you didn’t mention them I expect you didn’t develop them. So, I believe that there is nothing wrong or serious with you. In most cases, women develop these bumps after shaving their genital area. It happens when the hair follicle gets stuck when it is growing back out, like an ingrown hair. But, maybe, the best way to answer this question is by seeing your doctor.
