My period stopped for the entirety of last semester, but when I went home for break it finally started again (however, the flow was very irregular). I went to a gynecologist last Thursday, got a blood test there, and was given Yaz (which I started the day after, on last Friday).

Yesterday, my doctor calls me up and asks me if I have ever had sex/semen near me. She says that my blood test shows I'm pregnant (I'm assuming my hCG levels are a lot higher than normal). But that's IMPOSSIBLE - I have never had sex nor been in close proximity to a naked male (let alone near one who is ejaculating). It's not even "impossible" in the denial sense -- this would truly be an immaculate conception.

And I, in my curiousity and lingering excitement about the endocrine system (I was an AP Bio nerd.), looked up what else could cause hCG levels to soar. The only thing I found was ovarian tumors...

Websites say tumors are possible in girls my age (I'm eighteen, nineteen in June) in the form of germ cell tumors. And I'm getting another blood test this weekend to make sure someone didn't confuse my vials with someone else's.

Also, my aunt had ovarian cysts as a teen (though hers caused her a great deal of pain -- I feel nothing), my grandmother on my mom's side died of ovarian cancer, and my grandfather on my dad's side died of colorectal cancer.

Not to jump to any of those invariably stupid, self-diagnosing conclusions but...

...could this be what I think it is? (Tumors/cancer?) What are the chances of the blood test being incorrect? What are the chances of me having cancer?

(I can't decide which would be worse to have growing inside of me. A messiah or a tumor.)

Thanks.
