abnormal Period for 4-6 years

Hello, I've had abnormal bleeding it seems now for 4-6 years now off and on. I finally went and got check out about a little over a year ago at GYN, she did prego test and couple others and said i seem fine nothing wrong, at that point i had had it for around 3 months. She said to call her back in a week and let her know if it stoped or not. well it did stop, then i didn't have any type of period for about 3-5 months. Once it started up again i've had it ever since almost everyday. it has stopped here and their for a few days, some days are really heavy and clotty other days barely anything and some days in between. i've never had any kids,never been prego, never been on birth control,never had anything serious happen, and never been in any pain from this. I want kids and have been trying with my boyfriend of almost 3 years for the past 2 years and no luck. it is getting to be annoying and a pain!! I don't have insurance so it is hard for me to go to the doctors. i don't have alot of extra money to keep going to doctors either. im 26 years old and im just sick of it at this point.
unsure what to do, who to see?? :(
