Dear madam, you should be happy that your son wants to exercise. The most kids I know only want to seat in front of TV or computer. Bicycling is healthy. It will help him with his endurance and strength. It is also good for his mental health. He should first exercise alone but later he has to take a coach. It is not dangerous sport. He must stretch before the start. He should also worm up his muscles every time he practice.
