There are a lot of people who are against cross training and its schedule. They say that it is non-specific training. It means that you do not work only your discipline. For example, runner exercise swimming and bicycling and not just running. They think that it will not help you gain speed. I am a cross training trainer. I know that it is equally important to work on muscles and endurance as it is on speed. That is why a cross training schedule is good. It makes you more complete.
