i had an ultrasound july 2nd and it said i was 4.5 weeks pregnant. i had a surgical abortion july 3rd. i had minimal brown gritty blood until saturday when my boyfriend who didnt know about the surgery, woke me up with sex. i freaked out and stopped him but he had already entered me. saturday evening i had a brighter red and a little more blood than i had been having. i used a panty liner instead of a pad....of course i cant use tampons but i had been using just a little bit of toilet paper prior since i think I'm allergic to pads and liners.... Monday i changed to a darker brownish red, dark nasty smelling blood. Its now tuesday, one week after the surgical abortion. still a very dark brown and a little red liquidy blood. i think there is still an odor but i dont know if i am being paranoid or if i have a problem. i am prone to bacterial vaginosis...I'm allergic to anything scented.... now wednesday, i cant tell if its blood or discharge. its minimal. i tried calling the clinic the last two days but havent heard back. the real problem is i had the surgery in another state since i was traveling...i am currently in a small town and about to be on the road again in another few days. i dont have the money to go back the six hours to the clinic or to pay for a visit elsewhere so I'm very worried. they never gave me any antibiotic after my abortion to fight infection.
