I’m interested to know if albuterol that is used in asthma works as heart stimulant. Albuterol has effect on blood vessel to dilate bronchioles. And what’s with beta blockers? I’d like to hear something about albuterol stimulate effects and how dangerous they may be in patient with hbp.

Albuterol is agonist of the same receptors on which beta blockers works antagonically. If patient has both asthma and hbp, he’d have ACEI or thiazides instead of beta-blockers. Beta –blockers are contraindicated in asthma and diabetes. Symptoms of overdosing with albuterol are chest pain, irregular heart beats, fluttering heart and seizures.
