I am a 33 yr. old female. I have been rushed to the hospital twice in the past six months. I have a sudden onset of muscle weakness, lightheadedness, prickly feeling all over, turn bright red and my breathing is labored. I also get blurred vision and cottonmouth, I feel like I am going to pass out. The dr.s have run tests but have found no answers to what is causing this. I did not do or eat anything different. For a couple of days after my head just feels full of pressure. Please, if you have any info. let me know. It is very scary... like my body is shutting down

Honestly, nothing can be sad over the internet. What tests did you have and what doctors did you see?
Are you taking any medications? You didn’t provide any medical history we could take into consideration.

Did you try to realize what could be the cause, when it happens. How often does it happen? Has it been just these two times or you had more similar experiences?

Have you been tested for any allergies?

Do you have problems with anxiety? Anxiety may cause many physical symptoms that may make you feel as if you were going to faint, or choke, etc

For example, shortness of breath. You may develop a feeling as if your chest won’t expand enough to get the air or like someone’s put a pillow on your face. Symptoms like these are caused by nerve impulses and you may often feel as if you were going to pass out.

Skin rashes are also common for stress and anxiety. Eczema/redness may appear mostly around the nose, cheeks and forehead. They clear when you start feeling better.
Hands and feet tingling and feeling week in the extremities are other sensations you could be experiencing. Tingling could be caused by accumulating carbon dioxide in the limbs, and shaking the hands, arms, legs and feet can help increase circulation to these areas.

Do you have regular physical activity? Maybe you should! It could help you with these symptoms!
