I'm new here and just wondered if anyone else has had this kinda thing.... I've had a look around and cant see anything like what I'm going through. :$ Sorry if there is....
Me and my partner have been trying for a baby for about a year now, last month my period was a week or so late and I only had like a smear of blood when I wiped for about 3 days then I bleed at my normal flow for 2. I went to the Dr's and asked if I could be pregnant he said wait to see what happens now as I thought as I bled 'normally' for 2 days that was ok... but it has happened again this month and I'm getting confused, I'm getting all sorts of signs that I am pregnant like I'm getting really bad nausea (not like me at all) I'm so tired all the time it's like I can't possibly get enough sleep. I think I've been constipated but I'm not sure (not had it before so am going on what the internet tells me) and on top of all this I'm always confused and drowsy at first I put this down to lack of sleep but I'm getting like 9/10 hrs a night but am shattered all the time. Oh just one other thing as I also put it down to lack of sleep, I've been so over emotional about everything and my moods are swinging wildly it's pretty scary and completely unlike me to have such drastic turns. :'(:-P>;)
I have got a Dr's appointment (in a few days) but I want to know if anyone else has had anything like this before? And if so what happened?

Were your periods this short before? Some women do get period-like bleeding during first months of pregnancy, but in all this, you didn't mention if you tested for pregnancy at any point during this? Because all these symptoms definitely do point to pregnancy, so at least a home pregnancy test? Since you've been trying for so long, I think that whatever result comes up it should be reliable and that will give you a good starting point when you see a doc.

I haven't done a test out of pure fear. I don't want to see another negative so thought I would wait it out. :/ also as I said I put my symptoms down to other things... and it was only a few days ago that I found out you could bleed during pregnancy...
My periods before were heavy and regular in a sense that I had one every... 28-33 days :) also they were always 6/7days :)
I will do a test tomorrow morning then and see what I get. :)

Fingers crossed :D But, remember, either way it comes, then you'll know where to point your questions when you see the doc - obviously, why the sudden change in periods? Ask everything!

I didnt do a test as I got an earlier appointment... Im a bit confused as to what the Dr thinks, but has referred me to get a scan to see if anything is going on that either shouldn't be or if a lil baby is in there and has asked for my urine and also has asked me to go to hospital to get my blood taken for other causes to why I'm like this. Am finding out the results of blood and urine on Friday and the scan people are due to ring me today or tomorrow to book an appointment, I think I'm just going to wait... Is only two days longer. The thing that concerns me the most is everyone says they 'feel' pregnant I don't feel pregnant I just feel sick all the time :( Is that what being pregnant feels like?? I've been waiting ages to get pregnant and it's not going how I thought it would, assumed I'd miss a period and boom. Am in shock that it's possible. Brain wont work at the moment. Thank you for the advice will let you no the results :) fingers crossed <3

hi there,good luck! i m also playing a waiting game, tho its different to yours, positive test and now bleeding, thought that was the end of things but looking around it looks like it might not be, totally not planned it it is still there as my youngest only 7 months, keeping my fingers crossed for ya
