I am 22 years old, and generally in good health. Some 3 months ago I started feeling a constant pain in my right testicle. Then, several weeks ago I realized that I had small lump on the top of that testicle. My urologist examined me and gave me pain killers but not only that those did not help, but recently the pain even doubled. I also had all sorts of tests and nobody can tell me the cause for this. Is possible cause stress?? I’m asking this because I have been under a great deal of stress during past few months… Also, is it normal to have such cyst on my testicle at my age?

Did you have scrotal ultrasound?? If not, that is the first thing you have to do. I don’t believe that stress can be the cause – it is something else. There are many possibilities other than a cyst which include cancer, a varicocele, or hydrocele and the ultrasound I recommended you to take will answer this question. Hopefully, it will be a cyst - then it may be possible to surgically remove it. Finally, regarding your age and your condition – yes, it is possible to have cysts in your age. That is not uncommon…
