A friend of mine has been having serious eating disorder. Actually, she is thinking that she is very fat and this is far from truth. She has been given Zyprexa that should make her change her way of thinking and I have heard that it will also help her gain some real weight (she is very skinny). So, this Zyprexa belongs to thienobenzodiazepines. Are those drugs the same as benzopdiazepines?

Actually they are different. Benzodiazepinees belong to a group of central nervous system depressants. Zyprexa is antipsychortic medication. Its function is to alter some of the chemicals in the brain and that produces short term treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic depression)… It should be effective so I guess you should stop worrying about your friend.
