AxiaLIF Fusion 10/9/09- chronic post op pain, any one else ?

Hi LeAnne, I'm sorry I have been away so long.I don't know what state your in but you may have a total of 7 years to sue your Doc.The non fusion discovered after the first 2-3 years allowed to sue.You should get to the biggest High end law firm that sues doctors and tell them your story. Mine is similar. I finally got an MRI but they looked dead on. I wanted them to take pics with my body in different positions to locale loose migrating facet screws.As for meds you have to go to a pain clinic - try shots, phys therepy, tens unit, accupuncture and after all this fails they might finally give you Methadone for pain or time released morphine. nothing else is effective for this kind of nerve pain.I just stopped taking Ibuprofin 800mg four times a day because it causes kidney failure, myocardial infarction heart attachs, and strokes. They forgot to mention these side effects mentioning only to take food with it to prevent digestive complications that can also kill you.And the thing pain meds are more dangerous? Pain meds don't cause any of these problems.They cause death only if you take an extreme overdose. With the pictures you have you would be able to get them at the pain clinics in Florida. Only in the USA does the war on drug abuse prevent patients from getting appropriate pain medication.

Jason, how did you convince your doctor to remove the facet screws if you had them? I've been trying to get my facet screw removed for years.

I am considering to have this procedure performed, in Mass with very experienced AxialLiF surgeon, with the newer advanced hardware (no facet pins). Was your surgery performed in Mass? If yes, who and/or what facility?
