Is it okay for babies to give out breast milk? One of my aunties gave birth to a girl not more than two months ago and this morning when her grandma was bathing her i saw her squeeze milk from the infant's nipple, clear and light white milk and a lot and the baby was crying, so creeped out now.

Hello Junert

This temporary phenomenon is due to stimulation of the baby's breasts by the mother's hormones that cross the placenta during pregnancy. The ability of the baby's breasts to respond in this fashion is a mark of baby born at (or near) full-term. This is also known as witch's milk.

Not to worry, it is all temporary in nature. Leave the baby alone and do not squeeze her breasts un-necessarily - this may cause pain to the baby
