I beginning to think these doctors don't know sh*t! What's the difference between Trich, BV, and Vaginitis! They all seem to be the same. They don't really know what to test for, if it's an std or if the male carries it! I'm past frustrated. I've been going through this for over a year. My body is not just out of whack all the damn time if something is not causing it. Either my boyfriends sperm contributes to it and he needs to be treated, or they're not testing for the correct thing. All of my std labs are always negative! I'm done...sh*t driving me insane

Please, it does NOT mean he is a cheater.
BV is all about the pH levels.
Diet is important, but I have been celibate and still have gotten BV. Strong soap will upset the balance along with too much sugar, Alcohol, etc. There are MANY reasons Women get BV.
Men's sperm can upset the delicate balance of your vagina. Please do not jump to the conclusion that he is a cheater..

The hydrogen peroxide scares me, BUT other than that, I tried tea tree oil, yogurt, but what helped "cure me" for several years (until recently bout with antibiotics) was a combination of a 15 min bath just a few inches inches of water, a 1/2 or more of Apple Cider Vinegar, and about a 1/4 cup salt. 3 days in a row. I would make sure some of the water got into my vagina by using a finger and periodically rub outside the vulva. Also ate plain yogurt or lactobacillus pills.

The BIGGEST help was adding a glass of water with Chlorofresh, liquid chlorophyll. (Or capsules).

Since you need to 'fix' or ' change' you diet, by adding more green veggies, taking this suppliment was, is a quick easy way to do it.

I've also learned about taking 800 mcg of Folic Acid daily. I already take 400mcg.

Also have heard boric acid douche for a few days is good as well. 8oz of distilled water, 1/2 teaspoon? Not sure of measurements, but the water needs to be boiled to dissolve the BA. Cool to douche.

I’m 38 years old and have been struggling with BV since I was 17. It’s a horribly embarrassing problem and completely ruins self esteem and confidence. When I was young I had no idea how to combat it. The drs look at u like you’re filthy after you’re there a couple times with it, as if IT isn’t humiliating enough. There was no internet then, and no where to turn. As I got older and had more resources to look for cures and prevention, I realized different things work for different women and nothing that worked for everyone else worked for me! I finally, after spending years of recurring infections and more money than I can count found something that’s worked for me, and anyone else that suffered from BV that I led to it. And it was so simple and cheap. I got 30 boric acid suppositories from eBay for ten bucks, and a huge bag of baking soda from Sams Club.

They are many test out there for men. Men share their intimate sponateously. The same for women. In most one person serves as the host. Before long there are vectors and transmission takes place. Anal, oral, genital intercourse can and will implecate one or both partners. The wonder. The blame. The embarrassment. The feeling of being worthless. The anger. Possiblility to not tell a new partner of previous exposure like in the case of herpes or BV stems frim people not wanting to feel rejected. Judge. All hiding does is mask what is a life changer. People don't think about others. Revenge is real. Women However are the one who exhibit symptoms. There are any test knowm to detect BV in men. A can who is circumcise is highly ar risk on account of poor hygiene. Other men can transmit.
Antibiotics. Seek a medical doctor.
You can always attempt the suggested dose.
Be mindful an STD can deliver a fishy order as well.

Im just saying ive suffered from this for atleast 8 years, i did get rid of it for about 4 years in between that time because i started sleeping with a man who had a good ph i assume. Anyway i ended up with pretty severe PID because i was douching every day for a year. Douching isnt the cure for this and i would not reccomend it. As sad as it is to say, change sexual partners if u want bv to go away. It id also sexualy transmitted. I was free and clear until i slept with this girl one drunken night then it was back with a vengeance and i endes up giving it to my husband(he was there but not involved with the girl) now he smells like fish all the damn time too. Im pretty sure us maybe having oral sex with someone who has a good ph and isnt infected with this might be the only way to stop it. P.s. i do not have hpv, never had it, have been vaccinated, husband doesnt have it either so im not sure how connected hpv and bv are.

See if your partner washes himself down there with soap/body wash, it might just be that, that is causing the BV.. my partner was using a strong smelling radox body wash to wash his bits & I had the same issues
