been taking opiates for 15 years

You have been taking opiates for a long time.  I was addicted to T3s (30mg codeine & acetaminophen) for about 4 four years.  Codeine is fast acting and the worse symptoms were the 3-4 days. I had severe anxiety and agitation.  It felt like hell.  However the worst was over in a week and by the end of 2 weeks I felt fairly good.  I used dimenhydramate to make me sleep a lot during the worst and it did take me 3 attempts.  I haven't had any since April 2010.  Take good care of yourself.  Think about why  you took opiates.  I took T3s because I suffer from severe refractory depression and they helped me get through the days.  I also suffer from severe anxiety, but struggle along. Mayde you need therapy so you don't slip back.  All the best
