I had got something a couple months ago, which consisted of coughing all night and real bad sinus sinus infections, but now when I cough the mucus comes out white, but I was driving one day and didnt want to spit out the window so I spit into a bottle %-) . They next day after it had set in the Tx heat for a few hours it turn black and stiff...What could it be? Should I see a doctor?

Its not black, its dark red. Its actually dried blood mixed with mucus, I usually get those when I have sinus infections, just take some anti-biotics

If you have black mucus then you should see a doctor. If your mucus is anything other than slightly green then that's a good reason to see a doctor for bedcause that usually indicates that you've had an infection or something like that, and you'll need to take care of that as quickly as possible! I hope that you're able to see one as quickly as you can. Keep us posted on how you're doing okay? It is likely NOT dried blood, and that's still a serious issue even if it is dried blood. Thanks!
