I'm currently a PCA to an 85 yr old lady. She's had 20 plus yrs of complaints for a problem that's so far gone undiagnosed.
Symptoms are as follows:
Black, sooty discharge from her vagina
A "tearing" pain in her lower abdomen, which she feels is a "spasm" in her bladder.
When she has this discharge she says she feels like something "bursts".
There is no odor.
She has mental problems which leads several Drs. to believe it's "all in her head". The proof of this discharge still doesn't seem to make them take her seriously. The pain is so great that there are days when she can't sit up, only finding relief when lying flat on her bed.
She's had gyno exams, CAT scans and bladder/kidney tests. Nothing shows up. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

I'm 18 and I have the same symptoms, the only thing the doctors can seem to find are ovarian cysts, which I pass monthly. Everything else, the pain, discharge, seems like it doesn't matter to them.

I replied not long ago about this same thing. I also have the burning pain but no soot. My Gyne finally put me on a compound cream inserted inside. Some time it helps. I take advil if it doesn't help after awhile and finally get some relief. This goes on 24-7 without this help.
Please see this person gets some help. This has not had too much research. A suecidal person could not take all this.Hope this helps. Will you keep me informed. Thanks, Thelma Dodge
