for about the last six months or so I have been having pains in my lower abdoman, I think in the area of my ovaries. The pain has been checked out, but only once and i was during a visit to the ER for what turned out to be my gall bladder. the did a pelvic and everything looked fine so they did an ultrsound and the only thing that found was the I had a large cyst in one of my ovaries, which didn't account for the pain, they also said that they came and went with periods. They pain doesn't seem to occur at any particular time, it seems very random, it doesn't last for very long, mabe a minute, and it's kind of a stabbing pain. Then the other day when I went to the bathroom I noticed that I didn't have as much feeling in my vaginal area as I normally do, and since then the area has felt warm and it feels like it's swollen. Also I have had pain while having sex, it feels like the area is just too tight. I talked to my husband about it and he said that I felt tight to him too, enough to the point that it made having sex kinda painful for him too. I don't have any idea what this could be or even if it is anything to worry about. If anyone has any advice or has an idea of what this might be please let me know.

Hi, I have had the numbness on my left side sort of like you described. It makes sex feel very weird. My problem is that I have hips that crack and pop alot causing nerves to be pinched. My hip ligaments are so wore out that my hips just crack all the time and depending on which way I pop I get some relief at times and other times I go for days being numb on one side. I feel the vaginal tightness as well but my hubby likes it of course. Typical man!
I hope you find some relief. You may have a pinched nerve or popping of ligaments as well. I know it caused me to have swelling and my ob/gyn couldnt figure out what was wrong with me back then either and it still continues off and on.
