Bleeding in my 7th week of pregnancy, is this a miscarriage?

Any bleeding during pregnancy, especially if it is heavy, is not good and should be checked out by a physician. Have you been back to see your OB/GYN after the ER visit? Since the ER doctor mentioned the irregularity in heartbeat, this is something worth looking into right away.

There are occasions when a pregnant woman will have low levels of progesterone in her system and this will cause some spotting. The best thing to do is contact your OB/GYN, especially since the symptoms seem to run in your family. Spotting is somewhat normal depending on your medical history but passing golf ball sized blood clots is not. Please see your doctor right away.

oh yah also, the bleeding is no where near as bad as when i get my period. i only fill a pad a day, not even that. its only when i go to the bathroom.

Need to make a trip to the doctor right away. Any bleeding during pregnancy at least requires a phone call. If you are cramping it requires a visit to the doctor immediately. Since you have had the symptoms for awhile, it is time and I hope you will go have it checked out. You are looking out for you and your baby at this point and you don't want problems later on.
