My partner had two positive pregnancy tests and one negative. The fist was positive, the second negative, and the third positive. She used first response and clear blue tests fir her positive ones. Her 'scheduled' period was on Dec.1 and first test came positive on Dec.5.On Dec.8,she spotted and started to bleed that showed blood clots. What do you think is happening? Should we be worried?

Hi Confused,

False positives are very rare.

She can have some spotting/bleeding during the first trimester.  Heavy bleeding and cramping would likely indicate a miscarriage - they are more common early in pregnancy than many women believe.

See her doctor or ob/gyn.

Good luck.
