I am a flight attendant AND CANCER SURVIVOR , and had an unusual experience during the holidays . I had been sich with chect and cough problems , then it moved up into my head causing me to not be able to breath without neosyneprine. I kept going after i did take off 1 3 day trip before the holidays ...thought i was on the upswing but got back on the planes and had 7 days of flying to do the last of which was a 3 day trip . On 3rd morning I had to get up at 0300 am and was kinda out of it but nothing I thought to slow me down fro Finishing the trip . I get to the plane and 1st thing we had a mechanical that took 1.5 hours to fix . I was sitting down on my jumpseat and head pounding so hard I was cupping it with my hands head down . I was feeling a little dizzy and disoriented like out of body almost .. I am also diabetic had not eaten yet and take blood pressure medicine since surviving Cancer the after math of being on Tomoxifen has raised my BP for whatever reason I do not know but I have alot more anxiety now than before cancer . I was having trouble keeping my balance at altitude and accisdently spilled few drops of oj on someone , I apologized and she the lit into me as though I was doing this all filght . I was trying to play don the facy that I did not feel good because for me to get off the trip would severely inconvenience a full load of customers . I t would have been awful for my customers so I reallly felt I needed to make it back to base The agent noticed something whle we were elayed and said something to the captain who came and talked to me . That was first I knew anyone was saying anything . I assured him i COULD MAKE IT BACK TO BASE BUT i WAS NOT REAL GREAT APPARENTLY IN FLIGHT as a few people complained about me spilling on them .They if really looked could have seen I was not well but they did not even care it seemed . I am only human too . Needless to say agent there called DFW and MANAGERS METS THE FLIGHT . I assured them I had indeed had some difficulty in flight and perhaps due to my inner ear blockage because i COULD BARELY HEAR ... BUT also I checked my BP AND GLUCOSE LEVELS AND THEY ARE STILL RUNNING 159/110 AND 210 GLUCOSE. My head feels like a bomb about to go off . real tight and I can't hear real well . I amm unsteady and can'tt remember anything... HELP! any opinions or directions anyone can point me in???. Peope ar eso cruel on those planes anytmore ..
