Just want to confirm the same issue. I get an irregular heartbeat. I'll drink a lot of water. Have a bowel movement and then it usually goes away. Whole thing may take 20 to 30 minutes.

I think it could be possible. When we feel that we have complications in our body, we should have to take it positively so that it will not make complications. It is all about psychological effects. Anyway, solve first the constipation and after that, observe the changes happen on your body especially the heartbeat. I will recommend you my best reliever of constipation which also help me a lot. Take this Digestic from Mimonis.

I occasionally experience a pounding arrhythmia only whenever I have a very full bowel. Sounds wacky, I know, but I've documented it over the last 5yrs and consistently within 20 min of having said movement the arrhythmia subsides to normal sinus rhythm

I'm suspecting the same thing. Constipation, then more and more irregular heartbeat. Also have to watch my body temperature. Drops low makes things worse. Have to get in hot shower.

U finally hit the nail on the head for me!!! My AF gets relieved once I have a bowel movement! Cardiologists do disregard that comment so I thought it was just a coincidence, thanks for the post

My cardiologist says it is one of side effects. That the vagas nerve intervates both the intestines and the heart. So when you get "full". Sensitive people can get arrhythmias. Inalready have them so it flares up significantly when i eat fiber. Fructose or whatever triggers my ibs. Its so scary!!!

I also have AFIB diagnosis and strongly suspect it's a stomach issue which is why the meds(heart) don't work and I won't take anymore and I'm sure ablation the same! Have to treat myself!

Sorry! Try treating your stomach/ bowel issues and may see improvement in heart! Maybe fiber(psyllium) everyday would help I seem to have same thing!
