Hi, about a month ago I fell and broke my knee-cap while on tdy. I was taken to the ER of a big hospital where I spent that first night. In the morning I had to go into surgery but I decided to go back home and have the surgery in the citywhere I live. A week after the surgery I had to pay the doctor a visit. And then again two weeks after that first visit. This time I had to take x-ray images with me. The physical examination was ok but on the image he saw that the pieces were not growing side by side but that they had shifted like over-under, like step was establishing. That would cause problems in the future so he suggested to do the surgery again. Another orthopedist said the bones would not heal at all if I would not go into surgery. So I gave in and decided to have it redone. My concern now is that I hear some clicking when I walk and am worries that the pieces have shifted again. The physician had said that he had knotted the wires tighter this time. Does that mean that he had not pulled the strings during the first surgery?
