Hello! I am 22 and had my period almost three weeks ago. Although I usually have a terrible time with horrible cramps, this time it was nearly painless with slightly less bleeding. It usually lasts for a week, but at the end of the week I continued spotting brown (sometimes pink) with occasional clot (blood, mucus) looking type things. I have had light spotting before, but this time I have had to use panty liners every day for the past two weeks since the spotting / clotting has become more regular (about once a day)... has anyone experienced this before? Thanks!

I don't know if this will help but I have experienced a similar thing. I once had my period for 4 weeks, with no sign of letting up. The doctor put me on birth control to regulate my cycles. That seemed to do the trick. As for the brown discharge and clotting, I have that often. It just seems to be buildup. I would't worry too mucgh unless you have other symptoms. But i would say that it's always safer to bring it up with your doctor, better to be safe than sorry.

I got my period 2 weeks ago, and haven't stopped bleeding yet. I started having pain in my lower right abdomen 2 days ago, and went to see the doctor. I've always had normal periods in the past and I'm concerned. At the start of this period I also had big blood clots, which I've never had before. Anyone have any idea what's up?

I am 20, and I am a week away from my period. I usually get blood clots while on my period but never just randomly a week and a half before. Is this normal?.. do many women go through this?
