I'm 19 years old and i am sexually active. I have only one partner and we have unprotected sex. We have been having sex for almost a year together and this is the first time i not had a cycle for three months. i am very irregular and i have been stressed alot so i didn't worry until on the fourth month i got moody. So i took a pregnancy test it was fainted in the results. I never had this show up on a test. A week later i started having this pinkish discharged with very very little spots blood. I thought is was my cycle starting however, it lasted for two days and went away. I call myself looking into it and all i could find was implantation and ovulation to be my case. However, i started the pinkish discharged again and this time it grew on the second day to VERY heavy blood with has never happen to me out all and took another test on a light day negative which i assumed to be. I still have no answer to it so i set me up an appt. to see my doctor i have a month wait. I'm looking for answers because i have had this what is to be my cycle for an unnatural 5days and on this 5th day it has not lighten up and I'm going thru 4 pads or more a day and this brown thick clumpy solid brown gooey discharge i guess stuff came out of me. I consistely get checked for cancer, std's,etc. and i keep one partner at a time. IDK!!!! Can someone explain this to me PLEASE.? ?

Discharge differences surrounding your period are not unusual, and brown discharge just indicates old tissue leaving your uterus (the brown is dried blood). Considering everything you are describing, mind you, I am actually wondering if you could have been pregnant and whether the bleeding your are describing is a miscarriage. The tissues coming out, which you describe, make this especially likely. Then, there was the faint positive pregnancy test.

Are you also experiencing cramping or pain?

If you call your doctor about a suspected miscarriage, I am sure they will make time to see you a whole lot sooner, so please call again.
