bruised tender feeling in ribs and back of head.

Hi there since march 2012 i have had tender bruised feeling on the back of my head and lower ribs. Its mostly and the left side for both areas. Now i was just put on iron pills 150 millagrams. And my energy came back. But since april the pain is worse and i back to feeling tired again. Also i am on a 2 week heart monitor. I have had heart palpitations and its worse when i go for a speed walk. I am only 30 years old and a female with two young kids. My life is great. But i am worried everyday that something is wrong. Has anyone gone through this and know what this could be? I am very worried. I going to see the doctor this week. I did some researching and it could be anemia or lacking vitamins or stress or fabromyligia. Or all the above. What do you think i should get the doctor to do ? I also quit smoking back in feb 2012. Thanks in advance. I just feel alone with this and its getting me down.
