Last year after splintering a sunflower seed shell in my mouth, I had noticed a painful bump on the muscle connecting my jaws (right side of the mouth). I showed my dentist and he thought it was a hematoma and that it would go away, after a couple of months it was still there, but his xray machine wasn't designed to angle the proper way to get an xray of that muscle. - I am wondering if there's still part of that shell in the muscle. The pain is not severe, but the bump is sometimes is sensitive to the touch. Before I go to a specialist to get it looked at, does anyone have any other ideas of what this could be?
Thanks!
