Ok well i have had a UTI and they gave me meds for it and it still didnt go away... They said it was from my discharge and they just said that my discharge contaminated my urine so they did a catheter on me and it came back clean so you might wanna add that to your message thing to people and they said its because I dont drink enough water.... Well im just trying to be helpful!!

There are various other things that can trigger UTIs that have nothing to do with poor hygiene.
Holding one's bladder too long.
Having too much sex (you should always pee before/after sex, you use alot of the same muscles)
Being a diabetic can make you especially prone.
Also... taking baths instead of showers.
While what this person is describing is most likely a UTI, there are STDs that cause discomfort urinating, however the blood in the urine points to a UTI or stones somewhere in the urinary tract... and it doesn't sound like you're in enough pain for it to be stones anywhere in the urinary tract.

Recently I had the most painfull experience related to vaginal urinary infection and I would like to share few helpful healty tips with everyone.
- * have the habit of cleaning up vaginal area immidiately after having sex(this will reduce no of visits to the doctor!!!!!!!!!)
- * pee before and after having sex(protected/unprotected)
- * if u have significant pain while peeing(before/after/during) then immidiately see your doctor, don't waste time otherwise you may endup in more pain.
- * don't have sex until your doctor advices you about this otherwise the condition may get worst.
- * keep drinking lot of water until the pain gets over,this will help to reduce the infection level.BUT ALWAYS DRINK FULL GLASS OF WATER DON'T KEEP ON SIPPING IT NOW AND THEN.
- *BE SMART to keep watch on the healty habits of your sexual partner.

Ok I have the same problem but me and my boyfriend don't do anal. Just 2 days ago I went to my doctor, mind you shes a high reccomended doctor. She told me I have a UTI, BUT today I got a call from my doctor saying the antibiotic is the wrong one, and that they sent it to the lab just to make sure, and it is NOT A UTI! What could it Be? After sex I always use the restroom and get in the shower. I always wash my hands as well. So yeah. My symptoms are bleeding from the vaginal area, burning when urinating, high pain, and very low urination. If you have any ideas tell me.

Hi! I hope someone sees this as soon as possible cause I don't know what is happening with my body or urinary system.
I've had sex w my partner five days ago (and it isn't the first time) but experienced no pain in urinating. After a day, I constantly wake up early in the morning have the urge to urinate and when I do, it is painful and there's a little amount of blood and some sort of "tissue"-like substance that comes out with it. I had my urine checked in a hospital lab the next day and the results showed normal. And it is only during the morning that I feel such pain. Can someone help? Thank you so much!
