Can I take Calcium with vitamin D and L-lysine at the same time?

Loading...

Yes. They often make calcium plus D. The thing is make sure you have enough magnesium. It is not wise to supplement with calcium if you eat enough dairy.

Lysine must be taken away from protein (don't swallow it with milk)

Yes, they are all necessary for absorption of the calcium, as well as others like manganese, omegas, boron, etc.

Although dairy is a very good source of calcium, it is not a very bioavailable source, meaning you are not absorbing much. Milk for example only has about a 30% absorption of its calcium.

DO NOT rely solely on dairy products for calcium intake.
