The health risks and complications from trying a testicle transplant would be far worse than just getting artifical testicle implants and taking replacement testosterone if you have no testicles at all. If you have one testicle, then it can grow bigger and do the whole work load of 2 testicles in both sperm and testosterone production. Don't take artifical testosterone if you still have one good working testicle as that would turn off the remaining working testicle and leave you both sterile and with an atrophied remaining useless testicle. Testicle donors would not be hard to find at all as many young men die in accidents and donate their healthy young organs daily. Also many men done having children would just as soon donate one testicle for transplanting as have it go to waste after getting a vasectomy and never using their sperm production from that one testicle again anyway. The remaining vasectomied testicle could do his whole necessary male sexual function and hormone work load after donating one testicle to another man who needs one. So, lots of men past making babies would be glad to donate one of their healthy working testicles. But the science to safely transplant testicles is not well developed enough to make the risk worth it now. Maybe time will develop better testicle transplant technology some day.

That is exactly my situation. I may now lose the remaining testis, however I look at it as getting an upgrade...like you say, going bigger as well!!! I have testosterone every 10 weeks and everything works fine....only she knows and quite frankly they look like the real deal. 18 years on.

I donate regularly to Dr Anthony Atala's Regenerative Medicine fund at Wake–Forest Health (https://campaign.wakehealth.edu/giving/). He seems to be the leader in stem-cell, 3D-printed, testicular regeneration. He last made news headlines in January of 2016, for achieving a viable organ of microscopic size in a petri dish
Every doctor I see tells me no surgeon would attempt transplantation, even from a family member, due to risk of immuno-rejection.

Hi, if you’re worried about hormone deficiency, then you hav hope. The remaining testicle actually compensates and testosterone levels return to baseline. However, if you’re worried about cosmetic, then you’re out of luck.

You’ll be prescribed testosterone enanthate or cypionate, ~200mg per week. And maybe an anti-estrogen
